Test Drive the WordPress 2.5 Beta Version

WordPressHey, if you’re interested in seeing what the future holds in store for WordPress, drop by the recently launched test site at ChrisJohnson.org. Here you can test out the current beta version of the most popular blogging platform on the Internet. When you arrive, you will find the default template with a bit of information about the test site. Most importantly, Chris reminds users that this is a beta version and there are likely to be some bugs still in the system.

To try out the redesigned administration panel, go to the test site login and enter the following: user name (admin) and password (demo). Try out things and see how you like it. The site is returned to the default settings each hour. Have fun and let me know what you think.

[Editor’s Note: If you are interested in a detailed list of changes, visit Westi on WordPress. Each week he as been posting an update on the new changes for version 2.5.]

What exactly is different? I don’t really see anything special! :)

Hi Jenny - The current version downloadable at WordPress.org/download/ is 2.3.3.
