Controversy Surrounds BloggingStartup.com Official Launch Date!

This morning from the headquarters of the Coryan Blogging Network (CBN) in Elk Grove, California, Jim Lockwood (that’s me, but I want this to sound official) announced that BloggingStartup.com will officially launch on…CBN Press Conference

January 23, 2008!

This launch has been widely anticipated by the blogging community since word was leaked that CBN was developing a resource and support blog for those new to the blogging experience.

When asked about the rumors that the blog had already launched, Mr. Lockwood replied, “the previous posts were not a part of an organized, official effort to begin the blog.” After future questioning as to whether this post announcing the launch date would only contribute to the confusion regarding the “official” launch date, Mr. Lockwood appeared nervous, or possibly confused. He responded, “I am not, nor have I ever been part of a conspiracy to mislead the public regarding the launch of this blog. The launch date will be January 23, 2008. Those who would suggest that any preposting of information on this blog would constitute an official launch of the blog, are not only questioning my integrity; but they are casting a shadow on the entire blogging community.” Mr. Lockwood then walked away stating he had nothing further to say.

Haha! I enjoyed this post, and I can’t wait for the official launch!

[...] You actually put thought and energy into your blog launch! That’s great. (My first two blogs were launched with zero fanfare and zero visitors for several days. I finally got smart with this blog; see the news report.) [...]
