Bluehost are real bad. I had to open a paypal dispute to get my money back 1 week after I joined them and got suspended for no reason.
Won't waste time going through it all on here but imagine this: they asked me to mail them the password to my paypal account.
How about mailing them the copy of my ID card?
Maybe they will find someone naive enough uh?
I haven't had to publish my ID with Adwords/Adsense/CJ/Shareasale/Overture/Forbes yet these bluedhost cowboys require me to fax a copy of it AND my paypal password!

I have the original email from
> Breanna
> Bluehost.com
> Verification Department

This is an excerpt from her mail:

> To reactivate your account, please fax or email a copy of your photo ID
>and the front and back of the credit card that was charged. You can white
out all but the last four card numbers on the card front. If you signed up
through PayPal we will need a copy of a government issued ID, the password
on the account, and the PayPal e-mail.

I don't understand why people keep going to godaddy.

A quick google search tells you everything you need to know about them.

It is really weird to deal with such monsters and I am planning to leave one of my hosts for similar reason. While browsing my account, I felt something wrong because I can see unknown domain name in my list of domains. I initiated a ticked and asked them who added that in my account as I am very concerned about my security. I got a negative reply and they told me that they even didn't know about that. I think this is weird and we should move to appropriate hosts.

I have been using GoDaddy for domain registration. Fortunate enough I have not use them for hosting.

So far I'm fine with hostagtor, lunarpages and bluehost for wordpress installation. I guess the installation on Godaddy crashed with the server configuration? I don't know..I am just making a wild guess.
