You make a great point. Blogging is not all about money OR visitors. It is whatever makes you happy. So, blogging success can be measured in how much you enjoy blogging! For me, I love numbers. It might actually be easier to calculate the number of minutes I don't spend on my blog. hehe... I measure my success primarily by how happy I am with the sites I've created, but I love seeing lots of visitors as well! As for money, I enjoy being able to make some money from my blogs, but it's really nothing compared to the time I put into it. Since I'm receiving a little compensation to do something I would do for free, I'm not complaining! I’m afraid to total up the number of minutes I spend on my blog.
